Bob was a wonderful man and a dedicated public servant. I enjoyed listening to his stories about hiking at Lake Erie with his wife. His strong voice drew attention in a court room, but was soft and caring when speaking with Joyce. He was so proud of his nieces and nephews and spoke of them with observable joy. He was a professional man, firm in his knowledge of law and ethical in his practice. I will miss his jokes and his chuckle. I will miss picking up the phone to hear, "Ms. Thompson, this is Bob Morris..." like I didn't already know who was on the phone. I will cherish all I learned from him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they move into the Christmas season.

Joyce, I was shocked & saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was one of the nicest men I have ever met & one outstanding lawyer. Bob handled some legal business for us years ago when we used to own & produce the Lewis County Teen USA Pageant. Not only did he do our contract work, he also oversaw the judging & tabulations for us. What an amazing person he was & we feel so privileged to have known him. Joyce, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Bob was one of the finest man we ever knew and he was an excellent lawyer. He had a brilliant mind and honorable in every way. The legal services that he provided in the Lewis County prosecutor’s office were invaluable. He was the best of the best. Mike and I treasured our friendship with Bob. May God bless and keep you.
