My sadness at the news of your loss also strikes me with a sense of losing an important connection to whole era of my own life. Even though I moved from Bridgeport in 1995, I frequently stopped to visit with your parents and to acknowledge the value they both added to my life. Then after living in several cities, I moved to Tampa Florida ten years ago where I will surely end my days.
n 1975, I interviewed for a job with your father at CNG. When I moved to Harrison County, both of your parents were very supportive. Support that continued for more than two decades on a frequent basis.
You have many reasons to be proud of your parents. I was part of numerous conversations in which they talked of helping you grow and deal with your own lives.
I was proud to call them 'friends".
