"He will cover you with his feathers, under his wings you will find safety" ~ Criss loved that verse while he was a police officer. I would read him a verse from the bible nearly every night. I asked him once, "What does heaven mean to you?" He answered "Knowing our sons have happy, healthy, fulfilling lives." I'm certain he is in Heaven informing Jesus of precisely that. His sons, grandchildren & someday, great grandchildren will honor his name & his precious life.
He made it to paradise with his Savior for eternity ~

I’m so sorry about your son. He was always a good kid in CCD. A parent should never have to bury their child no matter the age. We buried our 4 month old son so I know how difficult it is. My prayers are with you. Jackie Straight

Criss was a special dude. I think he and I laughed more than anything. We worked at Mylan together. Probably one of the realist/most genuine people I’ve ever met. I’ll miss the late night surprise stop ins at Tonyas where we were greeted with big hugs and even bigger smiles.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's always hard seeing someone so young pass, but God must of had much bigger plans for him. Just know that he's where he should be, and I'm sure he'll be watching down on you to make sure you're ok. Chris will always be remembered by his friendly personality, and his big heart. Criss was a part of our family for many years. Although, I first met him when he pulled me over coming home from the Mannington fair. He came up to my window and I knew I wasn’t speeding and he said ma’am do you know you have a diaper on your bumper? We laughed and he threw the diaper away! It’s just hard to believe he’s gone so young! My prayers are with his children and his family. Have peace with all of your memories of him. I’m so sorry.
