Obituary of Criss Andrew Jimmie
Criss Andrew Jimmie, 45, of Center St., Rivesvile, WV, passed away early Monday morning in his residence. He was born September 24, 1973 in Fairmont, WV, son of Anthony and Stephanie Long Jimmie of Rivesville, WV. Criss was a Catholic by faith. He was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and the West Virginia Police Academy in Institute, WV. He gave five years of service in the U. S. Army, active with the Military Police. Criss was employed with Milan Pharmaceuticals in Morgantown, WV, and earlier employed with the Marion County Sheriff Dept. He belonged to the Pipefitters Union, 152, of Morgantown, WV, working in the local area. Criss also served the city of Rivesville, WV as their Chief of Police. He gave over a year of service as security guard for the Alaskan Pipeline, stationed out of Fairbanks, Alaska. Criss had a pleasant personality and was very well liked by his many friends. Additional survivors include his two sons, Easton Andrew Jimmie of Fairmont, WV and Gabriel Andrew Jimmie of Fairmont, WV, their mother and her husband, Renae and Joe Fox of Pittsburgh, PA, two brothers, Josh Jimmie of Rivesville, WV and Jacob Jimmie of Rivesville, WV, his companion, Tonya Fanire of Rivesville, WV, three grandchildren, Ava Marie, Zayden Andrew, and Zandor Jace Jimmie all of Fairmont, WV, several aunts and uncles, DeEtta and Joe Amoroso of Fairmont, WV, Charlie and Lana Jimmie of Rivesvillle, WV, and Rick and Chriss Boyles of Arizona, and a niece, Gianna Schappa of Rivesville, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, David Boyles, and his grandparents, Patsy and Georgia Long, Charlie and Helen Jimmie, and Richard and Toolie Boyles. Criss requested cremation services. Family and friends will be greeted Friday, February 22, 2017, at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper St., Rivesville, WV from 11am until 2pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home Friday afternoon at 2pm, with Rev. Stanley Merrifield and Mr. Eric Wright officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Mt. Zion Cemetery and Mausoleom in Fairmont, WV.
